As fate would have it when Hotaru arrived he was the only kitten. All the other cats were too old to play his kitten games.
When this one came it was like fate.
Hotaru took the smaller one by the paw and showed him the coolest places.
Soon two little orphans each had a brother.

This little firefly is just learning to climb.
He appeared in a cardboard box dropped off secretly in front of our house.
He must have been about 3 weeks old at the time.
