The smaller they are, the harder they call!

Saku-chan heard the small cries of an abandoned kitten coming from under her shed and this lion-hearted 4 year old was not going to stop until the kitten reached safety! She and her mom talked to the kitten and put out milk with soft food for it to eat for 2 days, until finally it could be coaxed out and rescued. “Mew-chan” is now at the shelter, and at 7 weeks old, is looking for a loving family to welcome her home.
We had an amazing week, and we’d like to thank the volunteers involved in the effort to rescue this abandoned 7 week old kitten, keep more than 12 cats from being destroyed, put 6 kittens in foster care, place 8 kittens in or on their way to new homes, and to make the people connected to these cases very happy.
