Sponsor a kitty

Here are some kitties with special needs, that have found their good life here at the shelter, thanks to the kind support we receive from people willing to sponsor their care. Some of the cats that come into Japan Cat Network’s care suffer from injuries or chronic illnesses, while others have been badly abused and neglected. As a result, they need specialized medical treatment, behavioral training and extra love and nurturing before they can find their own forever homes. These cats can have a happy life with us as their carers and YOU as their sponsor. We never give up on a cat no matter what the problem! If you are unable to keep a pet in your home, why not love a cat long distance, and help us to care for it?!

We have 3 kinds of sponsorship;

(A) 3,000 yen per month (or 30 USD) {36000 yen per year or 360 USD}
This covers basic food for your kitty.

(B) 5,000 yen per month (or 50 USD) {60000 yen per year or 600 USD}
This covers food and lower end medical costs for your kitty.

(C) 8,000 yen per month (or 80 USD) {96000 yen per year or 960 USD}
This covers special needs food and some higher end medical costs for your kitty.

You (as a sponsor) will receive:

* a sponsorship certificate and thankyou letter from your kitty (A, B, & C)
* a photograph of your cat (A, B, & C)
* a Christmas card from your kitty (B, & C)
* We will also email you quarterly updates and pictures of your kitty (B, & C)

You are welcome to come and visit your sponsored kitty as often as you like, though you may not be able to touch some of the less friendly. We would welcome your visit, and you can see your kitty’s good life. We believe that all of our kitties deserve the best life possible, despite their challenges, and once you take a look at these sweeties, we think you’ll agree. Please contact usabout who you’d like to sponsor, and let us know if you’d like to appear on our sponsor’s page or remain anonymous. And, if you just can’t decide who you might like to sponsor, ask us about a general sponsorship. In this case, we will use your sponsorship funds towards care for the currently most in need.
