Michael and His Mom

I’m in Tokyo now, staying at Michael’s mom’s house. Takako, the girl who found Michael in the snow, sent Judy this picture, which was taken when she went to visit them back in April.
He’ll always be a very special boy.
Awww…what a wonderful picture. I am so glad that he was found and was able to spend his remaining time in comfort and with love.
This morning, I was thinking about Michael and how much Judy must be missing him. I sent a donation in his memory. There are some that grab your heart, even though you have only seen photos. Michael is one of those special cats that grabbed mine. Condolences and hugs to Judy, and thanks for giving Michael a wonderful home and for allowing him to love and be loved before he had to leave.
Just got back from staying in Tokyo with Judy and her 3 babies–all FIV kitties from our shelter. We had a nice chance to talk about Michael and how special he was to everyone who met him! I know she’ll appreciate your kind thoughts!
