Chiroru/Leo
ADOPTED!
Chiroru was found abandoned in Hikone
on September 19, at around 4 weeks of age, with his 4 siblings.
He's a long haired ginger tabby with a gentle and affectionate
temperament. He was fostered and then adopted in Tokyo in November,
2009.
*********Notes*********
1/20/11 - We just moved, Leo and all, back to Switzerland. He has grown
into a beautiful big cat. He survived the traveling and changes well,
although he keeps meowing in the night. I think he is homesick.
1/28/10 I am working hard on it now! I have seen an improvement. I have
been training him with the water pistol and we've added several
scratching boards. I am going to order one of those towers too... thank
you for the link! So we will see how all this goes. Overall, I am
pleased with him.
1/22/10 We are having trouble with Leo because he has managed to
scratch
holes in the wall paper on many walls and has clawed our leather
furniture. I guess that is not a surprise. I am in the midst of trying
to train him with a squirt bottle and we put scratching boards all over
the house!
11/30/09 As I write Leo (Chiroru) is amusing himself by jumping up on
the
counters in the kitchen! He is doing well and we are all very fond of
him. [Our daughter] continues to be a good "mommy" although it is
hard for her to make the other two kids obey her. But Leo does sleep
with [her] and she is very happy about that.
11/2/09 Two weeks have passed and the kittens have really grown! And of
course we have all grown fond of them too! [We] would like to
keep Chiroru, the male, and would like to call him "Leo".
10/26/09 Brother
and sister love play-fighting! [Our daughter] is doing a good job as
"mother".
10/22/09 The kittens are doing well! They are sleeping
through the night and their BM's are normal! We got a scratching pad
which they like. I'll see about putting a [hot] waterbottle in their
bed.
