Lily  Adopted!
On October 25, Lily was rescued at 5 months of age from outside a supermarket in Tokyo. She had been abandoned there with her mother some time earlier, and remained after the mother cat disappeared. People fed her occaisionally, but a woman worried about her safety there, and also noticed a sudden decrease in health. She decided to take the kitten in and get it treatment. Lily received ongoing veterinary care and testing which unfortunately failed to identify her root health problem. She was then correctly diagnosed with broken ribs and other internal injurys, probably resulting from being hit by a car. Surgery followed and her outlook finally improved. Her rescuer already had a rescued adult cat, so Lily was offered for adoption. She was adopted in January.

Before leaving Japan I had Lily neutered and she has had all vaccinations etc and has made a full recovery from her ordeal since October.
