On September 17, Louise found 1 very sick 4 week old kitten near a parking lot in Osaka. She rushed off to the vet, and the next day went out to scout for any siblings. Surprisingly she saw 6 more kittens--all 7, black! She had to climb a fence to get to the others, and was able to catch 4, who were also very sick. The kittens were suffering from upper respiratory infections, which had given them severely congested noses and eyes, making it difficult for them to breathe or eat. One of the 2 elusive kittens was found collapsed in the parking lot the following day and sadly didn't make it. The other hasn't reappeared. She and Gina took the 5 to the vet for treatment and brought them back to stay with Louise. Lots of medicine and round-the clock care, and now all of these lucky little ones are on the road to recovery! There are 2 boys and 3 girls. Their names are Magic, Lace, Tynan, Ninja, and Merlin.
